Our Board and Train Program

Our Board and Train program gives you the flexibility to choose a 1-, 2-, 3-, or 4-week training experience based on your dog’s unique needs. Your dog stays in our home and receives daily, customized behavior work that allows for real, lasting change.

Choose Your Training Duration

  • 1 Week – Foundational Work: Ideal for dogs who need a reset, brush-up, or light manners training (e.g., leash pulling, jumping, basic commands). Best for dogs with no major aggression or anxiety issues.
  • 2 Weeks – Moderate Behavior Support: Great for dogs who need focused work on reactivity, impulse control, or house manners. Most behavior cases begin here.
  • 3 Weeks – Intensive Training: Recommended for dogs with anxiety, mild aggression, or multiple behavior concerns. Offers time for stronger progress, habit reinforcement, and better generalization.
  • 4 Weeks – Severe Behavior Modification: Best for dogs with significant aggression, severe anxiety, or long-standing behavior issues. Allows for deep work, clear pattern change, and calmer behavior under real-world distractions.

What a Day Looks Like

  • 1:1 training tailored to your dog’s needs
  • Structured daily walks
  • Supervised outdoor play with calm, non-reactive dogs
  • Socialization outings for real-world exposure
  • Rest and decompression time to support learning

Your dog stays on the main floor of our home with access to the blankets, toys, and comfort items you provide. We send you regular email updates with honest, detailed progress reports.

When It’s Time to Go Home

At the end of the program, we conduct a comprehensive in-person session. We review everything we worked on, demonstrate techniques, and guide you through hands-on practice to ensure a smooth transition back home.

Ongoing Support

Our support doesn’t stop when your dog goes home. We’re available for continued guidance, follow-up questions, or just to hear how your dog is doing. You’re never on your own.

  • How do I know how many weeks my dog needs?
We’ll help you decide during your consultation based on your dog’s behavior, history, and goals.
  • Can I extend the program if needed?
Yes. If we believe your dog would benefit from more time, we’ll let you know before their scheduled pickup date.
  • Will my dog forget the training once they come home?
No — we teach behaviors that transfer to real life. Your consistency matters, which is why we provide clear guidance and ongoing support.
  • Is this program suitable for aggressive dogs?
Yes. We specialize in aggression, reactivity, and anxiety. Dogs with severe behavioral issues benefit most from the 3- or 4-week options.
